During the period from 2016 until its closure in 2017, I had the incredible opportunity to work at MGFX, Media General’s central graphic design hub located in Richmond, Virginia. Being part of this dynamic team allowed me to immerse myself in the world of graphic design and contribute to the creation of visually stunning content.
At MGFX, my primary responsibility revolved around crafting and distributing Chyron news templates. These templates served as an integral part of the graphics packages used by the 28 stations that we serviced. Exceptional attention to detail was of utmost importance in this role, as each template had to be meticulously designed to ensure seamless integration and consistent branding across all stations.
In addition to my work on news templates, I also had the opportunity to create daily news graphics. This involved designing captivating visuals that enhanced the storytelling process and engaged viewers. From eye-catching showcasing to dynamic full-screen graphics, I collaborated with producers and editors to ensure that the graphics seamlessly complemented and enhanced the news content.
